Human Design: Gate 5 - Patterns

Let's talk for a moment about routine and consistency in the Human Design chart. I'm specifically thinking about Gate 5, although like most things in the chart, there's never just one marker for any theme. The system is far too complex for that.

But Gate 5 provides us with the theme of habits, routines, and consistent patterns. When Gate 5 is defined, or colored in, you will likely do well with having a daily ritual or routine. And when you're out of it, things can feel a bit unsettled.

When you have Gate 5 undefined, or white, in your chart, you will experience the energy of routine more inconsistently. You'll experience the theme of it through your relationships, and you are likely to draw people to you that have it defined, as is the case with all open gates in the chart.

I'm thinking about Gate 5 today, because I don't have it defined in my chart. So as much as I'd like to develop a pattern and practice for writing posts in this group on a consistent basis, that's gonna be a little hard for me 😕

So when you think "I haven't seen Jill post in a while" you'll know what's going on!

And what I will say is, even though my initial feeling is that I'm not doing it right or I need to be different, understanding this part of my chart allows me to say, actually, NO, varied activity and consistent inconsistency is FINE FOR ME. There's nothing wrong with the way I am.

Sending love to all of you trying to create new habits without Gate 5 defined (find a friend! it will help!) 💖
